Now that we have the ass-kicking shots out of the way, here's some other shots.
That's Alf the PA on the left, Jacqui the producer and me on the ground. We're giggling about something.

That's Yeshe, Omar and Ryan. What are they looking at?

We were filming on an eco-warrior/artists commune. They had goats.

They had chickens. Omar was going to scare them away with a stick...

...but it made a better javelin.

The bus we were shooting in. That's the director, Fred, John the sound guy and Alf.

Jacqui the producer brought us chocolate to keep us going.

The armourer, Gunner, let me keep the "round" (the one with no firing cap or gunpowder).

This was sticking through the bus's roof and was directly in the line of fire from my squib shot.

And trust me when I tell you I sprayed the bus ceiling. That red blob is about as large as the palm of my hand.

Post-squib. It was taped into the inside of the striped shirt and blew a hole in it. All fake blood, I promise!

Later that night - the squib is a ring of metal with the explosive in the middle; without the metal ring the kickback would not be spread out over a larger area and it would *really* hurt. By this morning it was only barely visible; it didn't bruise.

I don't want to give away too much of what the set and what we actors look like but those first two shots are way too cool not to show.
